The Ethical Food Company offers a customer experience that is second to none. We want our customers to keep coming back to buy from us and we know that if we want your custom, then me must offer the sort of service that will genuinely make you smile. When to order:
Because of the extremely complex logistical workings of The Ethical Food Company and because we want to ensure that your food arrives at your door as fresh as is humanly possible, we ask all customers to place orders by 9.30am on a Wednesday. Also, if you miss the order deadline, don’t let that put you off. Please do send us your order and we will do everything we can to fulfil it!

Delivery days:
Deliveries (and collections) are currently made on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays: courier deliveries are dispatched on Thursdays and arrive with the customer on Fridays.

Delivery area:
Our local delivery covers an area approximately 20 miles from Winslow. Deliveries can be made nationwide by overnight courier. We now have a delivery service into West London on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings.

Delivery Information:

At present we offer four delivery options:

1. Collection of your Order: We will compile and pack your order ready for you to collect from us at Verney Junction on a Thursday or Friday. No charge.

2. Local Delivery: Delivery by The Ethical Food Company to addresses within 25 miles of Verney Junction (Winslow). £2. We currently deliver on Thursdays and Fridays only. NEW THURSDAY EVENING DELIVERIES to Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Winslow and surrounding villages (Contact us to confirm).

3. London Deliveries: Our Saturday morning and Thursday evening service is currently to limited to these areas:

W1 Mayfair and West End, W2 Bayswater & Paddington, W4 Chiswick, W6 Hammersmith, W8 Kensington, W10 Ladbroke Grove, W11 Notting Hill and Holland Park,    W14 West Kensington,    SW6 Fulham & Parson's Green,    SW10 West Brompton & World's End,    SW3 Chelsea & Brompton,  SW1 Pimlico,  SW11 Battersea & Clapham Junction,    SW4 Clapham,    SW12 Balham,    SW18 Wandsworth & Earlsfield,    SW15 Putney & Roehampton,   and   SW13 Barnes & Castlenau, SW19 Wimbledon, SW17 Tooting, SW2 Brixton & Streatham Hill, at a charge of £3.

4. Courier Delivery: Dispatched Thursdays to arrive with you on Fridays. For deliveries outside of our local delivery area, or for delivery on specific days that we are not able to meet on our local fleet. £7.50 (+ 20p per kg over 10 kg). We will contact you once the order is complete if the total delivery cost exceeds £7.50. 

Delivery Times:

Food miles are a real hate at the Ethical Food Company, hence, we deliver to each region on set days. Our driver carefully picks the most efficient route in order to save on any milage possible. It is because of this that we are unable to offer delivery time options. However, if you wish to have your food delivered at a certain time, let us know and we will do our best to work the round around you.

What if I'm not in??? 

We leave boxes for people all over the place. Just let us know where you would like it left and our driver will ensure that they leave it carefully. If you really think there is nowhere, think about these... under a hedge, in the old coal shed, under an up-turned recycling box....the list goes on. If you really are flummoxed, our driver can take a key and leave the box inside the door - this is a bit of a last resort measure, however!

Payment:

To ensure that you are wholely satisfied with your order (which we've got no doubt you will be!) payments will not go through until the monday after delivery. If you have chosen to pay by card, payments are taken through 'Protx', an extremely secure on-line payment service. You can also choose to pay by cheque or by cash (this should be given to the driver on delivery of your order).
